Billy Morrison briefly played with Billy Idol, but now he's become one of those artists who lacks a distinctive style and adapts to guest vocalists. While he tries to diversify his styles, from punk to rap, his primary focus remains hard rock through the prism of alternative rock. Morrison is a decent guitarist, an average songwriter; everything ultimately works well (except for his vocals), but it's derivative and often dull. And the most successful songs are too reminiscent of guests like Godsmack and Marilyn Manson.
