Ария

A Soviet and Russian heavy metal band. One of the oldest and most successful Russian rock bands, it is also one of the few Russian groups to have achieved significant commercial and creative success and popularity beyond heavy metal fans. Many other famous bands ("Master," "Kipelov," "Mavrin," "Arteria," "Artur Berkut") were formed by its former members, and together they form a galaxy called the "Aria family." The majority of the band's lyrics were written by poets Margarita Pushkina and Alexander Yelin, and the music by Vitaly Dubinin.
