Black Tape for a Blue Girl is an American band formed in 1986 by keyboardist/songwriter Sam Rosenthal, the founder of Projekt Records. The band's fans include director David Lynch, actress Sasha Grey, author Poppy Z. Brite, and paleontologist and author Caitlín R. Kiernan.
