Эпидемия

A Russian power metal group founded in 1993, best known for its metal operas (Elven Manuscript, Elven Manuscript: Saga of All Times, and Treasure of Enia). It performs at the largest rock festivals in the country (including "Krylya" and "Nashestvie"). The influence of such collectives as Blind Guardian, Helloween, Gamma Ray, and Iron Maiden is noticeable in the group's music. The lyrical themes are mainly connected with fantasy — with the work of Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman, Michael Moorcock, J.R.R. Tolkien, and other writers of the genre. The name of the group is connected with the release of the film Epidemic.
