Maybe not the most hit-filled Slipknot album in terms of material, but it will give a head start to any other disc in terms of recording level and the power of delivery, even Vol. 3, which Rick Rubin recorded. Plus a few perfect rockers. There won't be another SK like this, at the very least because Paul Gray passed on to the other side, and Joey Jordison is not planning a return to the band. And the rhythm section here adds at least half a point. This disc can quite rightly be considered an icon in a whole range of styles that the guys from Iowa mix.
